DEGREE / DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS:

A student may be candidate for one of the diplomas for which his previous record qualifies him, i.e, A, BA student may work for one of the following:

M.Div, BD, G.Th, or L.Th.

An F.A student may work for either B.Th, G.Th or L.Th diploma.

Any student in the “A” class who doesn't qualify for a M.Div, B.D, G.Th  or L.Th, but who passes the three years course satisfactorily, will big given the Theological Seminary Diploma: and any “B” class student who does not qualify for the L.Th, but passes the three years course satisfactorily, will be given the Theological Training Certificate.

1. MASTER OF DIVINITY / BACHELOR OF DIVINITY

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

University graduate holding B.A or B.Sc. degree.

English qualifying examination at the graduate level.


COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three years course of study according to approved curriculum for M.Div; degree.

  • Maintaining an average of at least 85% in each department of instruction.

  • presenting and defending an acceptable thesis.

    2. BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY AND GRADUATE IN THEOLOGY DIPLOMA

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

    Intermediate pass holding either F.A or F.Sc.

    English qualifying examination at the intermediate level.

    COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS:

    Three years course of study according to approved curriculum for G.Th, B.Th: diploma.

    Maintaining an average of at least 75% in each department of instruction.

    Presenting an acceptable project.

     3. LICENTIATE IN THEOLOGY DIPLOMA

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

    University entrance pass with matriculation certificate.

    English qualifying examination at the matriculation level.

    COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS:

    Three years course of study according to approved curriculum for L.Th diploma.

    Maintaining an average of at least 75% in each department of instruction. Presenting an acceptable project.

    4. THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY DIPLOMA

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    F.A, F.Sc or graduate degrees.

    COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

    Three years course of study according to approved curriculum for this diploma.

    Maintaining an average of at least 70% in each department of instruction.

    5. THEOLOGICAL TRAINING CERTIFICATE

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    University entrance pass with matriculation certificate.

    COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

    Three years course of study according to approved curriculum for this certificate.

    Maintaining an average of at least 65% in each department of instruction.
